Dr. Celia M. Lastic is a gerontologist, health care strategist, educator, and author, committed to culturally responsive caregiving, leadership, and service. Her work bridges research and practice to strengthen caregiving systems and improve outcomes for aging populations.
She serves on the Leadership Council of the National Small Business Association and contributes to community development through workforce training initiatives, including service with the Long Beach Unified School District, and the California Council on Gerontology and Geriatrics (CCGG). Originally from Dominica and shaped by her father’s Saint Lucian and French heritage, she brings a Caribbean-informed perspective to her work.
Dr. Lastic is the founder of Touie Care Strategies LLC, where she advances caregiver education and workforce development to support older adults and their families.
As a Leadership Council Member of the National Small Business Association, Dr. Lastic welcomes collaboration and strategic partnerships that advance workforce development and caregiving excellence.
